"I can't say enough great things about these guys. Chris has been so wonderful to work with and every sub I've had come in to do other stuff has commented on how well done everything is. He also got along incredibly well with the local inspector. I hired Chris to take an existing 2 car garage and update it with a 528 sq. Ft living space upstairs, which I now live in full time. They did such a wonderful job, were amazing to work with, on budget and on time and great communicators.
They built me a dream of a home that I couldn't be happier about....especially cause now I'm stuck in it all the time...but I seriously don't mind, it's that great. I highly recommend Bicknell Builds."

"I have used Bicknell Builds on three bathroom remodels on our primary residence and on a rental property.
They were great in looking at the projects, suggesting design ideas and then performing the work on time and budget.
At the rental house, timing was very important as we had to displace the tenants while the work was performed. Bicknell Builds worked long days and over the weekend to complete the work as fast as possible and it came out great. During the demolition, we discovered some wood rot and other issues, but these were quickly resolved and still completed on time. Would highly recommend this contractor."

Chris converted an area of our basement into a cozy studio apartment, and then the next year when a burst water heater caused major damage to it, he made time in his schedule to repair it all and even upgrade several items. Then he led the way in the construction of gates and fences and landscaping around our yard. And now we're on his schedule for a new deck!

Chris Bicknell was first referred to me by a buddy who had done multiple projects with him. Bicknell Builds has done 2 projects for us as I tried him out first on a full bathroom demo and remodel and it came out AWESOME. His attention to detail and being meticulous all through the project made us want him to do our large kitchen remodel. A few months later after working on budgets we used them for a second time! The final product was over and beyond and exceeded our expectations. There were multiple challenges and issues with OUR cabinet manufacturer, including delays with their product but as the general contractor Chris was able to navigate through and do some major problem solving and make all of our items work. The main item on the kitchen fix was making our double oven work and rebuilding the problematic cabinet the manufacturer supplied. There were some fixes he had to do to "Make it work" and at the end of the day I was calling him "MacGyver." Attention to detail was a plus and we are in love love love with all of the finishing work. Any issues we had he laid out the problem, but had the solution or recommendation and we really felt he has excellent customer service.
The tiling work on our bathroom floor, kitchen floor and backsplash are AA++ as well as the trim work. Finishing details were a plus and they are true craftsmen. Chris Bicknell stays cool and keeps his customers calm through the process. it's a real pleasure to work with him and John and if I was doing another home remodel I would use them over and over again."

"Over the course of 25 years owning this place we've hired numerous contractors.
Hands-down Bicknell Builds has been the best. Chris and crew came in for one of those messy and from a contracting perspective, totally undesirable projects: replacing rotting framing on an exterior stair.
The project involved a fair amount of physical risk (the stair is long and tall), required a deft hand to preserve the parts worth saving, and of course included the inevitable unpleasant discovery. Chris was totally unflapped by the surprise challenges, totally flexible and creative in responding to the situation, and was always respectfully tending to our needs and constraints. The end product exceeded our expectations, both in terms of time (done a full day earlier than we expected) and in terms of quality, as they addressed some attendant side-issues we hadn't even thought of. Plus, he seems to be happy doing such a fine job, which is the best motivation of all."

"These were very large porcelain tiles from Italy that they installed for us.
They were very professional, knowledgeable, and did a fabulous job on installing and grouting.
Chris took the time to educate me and give me options, and he is a great communicator and followed through with everything we discussed. His crew was very careful in clean up and respecting our newly refinished floors,etc. We couldn't be more happy with a contractor!!!"

"We hired Chris for a full remodel of our upstairs bathroom, and couldn't be happier with the results. This was our first major home remodeling project so we weren't sure what to expect. From initial consultation to completion Chris was an absolute joy to work with.
